Msc in Museology and Cultural Heritage, awarded by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Coimbra; first cycle Degree in History by the same University; Post Graduate in Communication Law, by the Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra.

Working in Polytechnic Institute of Guarda since 1986. 

Throughout his main functions he coordinates the internal and external communications building the bridge between Polytechnic Institute and the regional community. He's also accountable for the connection with the media and for the content produced for social networks. He is in charge of the radio show broadcasted on Radio Altitude FM, available in podcast too. Member of the organization of national scientific conferences promoted by Polytechic Institute of Guarda.

Great experience on the radio and journalism area since 1976. Press correspondente of Diário de Noticias, director of Notícias da Guarda, Diário da Guarda and Guarda Press; director of the Radio Altitude (radio station founded in 1948, one of the oldest radio station in Portugal) where is currently the Provider Listener/Omsbudsman). He collaborated with the newspaper “As Beiras”, “C Magazine” and “Noticias da Covilhã”, among other media. Nowadays he collaborates with “O Interior”, a portuguese newspaper.

Published several books in the areas of Communication, Radio, Culture and Regional History.
